Well differentiated papillary mesothelioma (WDPM) is an extremely rare neoplasm of peritoneum and a variant of epithelial mesothelioma considered to be of low malignant potential. WDPM is characterized by indolent course and is diagnosed in most cases incidentally during surgery for other diseases. We recently experienced a case of WDPM in peritoneum, which showed delayed progression after 10 years. Here we report a case of WDPM with review of literature.(Korean J Med 70:S309-S312, 2006)
