Abstract
Cyclophosphamide is used in chemotherapy regimens for a variety of hematologic disorders. It is also used as a conditioning regimen for allogeneic stem cell transplantation. However, cyclophosphamide treatment is associated with several side effects, including hyponatremia; the mechanism of this ill effect remains unclear. Here, we report a case of hyponatremia after administering cyclophosphamide as a conditioning regimen for allogeneic stem cell transplantation. (Korean J Med 75:S798-S800, 2008)
