Abstract
Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is an autoimmune disorder of the neuromuscular junction. The muscle weakness reflects the loss of functional acetylcholine receptors (AcR) at the postsynaptic membrane of the neuromuscular junction by the action of autoantibody to AcR. It has been reported that patients with autoimmune disease often show an association of MG. We present here the clinical features and the courses of 4 such patients. We recommend that patients with rheumatoid arthritis and who complain fatigue should be considered for the possible involvement of myasthenia gravis.(Korean J Med 71:S1147-S1152, 2006)
