| Abstract |
|
Evans syndrome is characterized by autoimmune hemolytic anemia and idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in the absence of any known underlying cause. Evans syndrome during pregnancy is relatively uncommon. We present here a case of Evans syndrome that was initially diagnosed in pregnancy, and the pregnancy was complicated by severe preeclampia. The anemia and thrombocytopenia improved with steroid therapy after we induced delivery.(Korean J Med 71:S1112-S1114, 2006) |
