Abstract
A 26-year-old man with relapsed chronic myelogenous leukemia following bone marrow transplantation received non-myeloablative stem cell transplantation (NST). After the NST, he complained of neurological deficit, with sustained fever. The brain MRI showed multiple ring-enhanced lesions in the cerebellum, pons and left periventricle. He was diagnosed with CNS aspergillosis from a stereotactic biopsy. Following treatment with voriconazole for 21 days, his follow up brain MRI showed a much regressed lesion, with considerably improved clinical symptoms. We reported a case of cerebral aspergillosis, which was successfully treated with voriconazole following NST.(Korean J Med 71:S1095-S1100, 2006)
