Abstract
Protein-losing enteropathy is a group of disorders characterized by the loss of protein substances into the gastrointestinal tract. Protein-losing enteropathy after stem cell transplantation is associated with various diseases, of which pseudomembranous colitis is a rare cause. We report a case of protein-losing enteropathy associated with pseudomembranous colitis after stem cell transplantation that was diagnosed using both alpha-1-antitrypsin and albumin scintigraphy.
