Abstract
Coronary-bronchial artery anastomoses represent an unusual type of congenital coronary vessel anomaly. Although these anastomoses are present from birth with few hemodynamic consequences, some underlying diseases, including coronary artery atherosclerosis and pulmonary parenchymal disease, can cause them to dilate and become functional. We report a case of coronary-bronchial artery anastomosis successfully treated by percutaneous transcatheter coil embolization for the purpose of preventing complications in a patient with acute coronary syndrome undergoing stent implantation.
