Morgagni hernia discovered incidentally when the patient has reached adulthood or when they become symptomatic and usually located on the right side. Spontaneous lung herniation is in actually a variant of a traumatic hernia; it occurs after self-inflicted trauma caused by coughing, sneezing, or abnormal body motion.
